By 2005, Sujit had improved greatly, but he remained vulnerable. The wild surface of his early years had been worn away by the constant love and attention of Elizabeth and literally an army of caring people.

In addition to the professional people - doctors, therapists, hospital personnel - so many "silent helpers" contributed to Sujit's emergence from behind that wild exterior. The people around who quietly opened doors, recruited help, gave their time and energy - and continue to give.

Even the children who play with Sujit daily have helped him lose his fear and connect with others - and the children do love Sujit!
